Our research projects in the Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary are largely focused on the study of reproduction cycles for a number of shark species; using acoustic and satellite telemetry to understand habitat use, regional connectivity, and large scale movement patterns for highly migratory species; as well as opportunities for early career scientists to get hands on experience in the field of shark research.
